I have been practicing therapy for 6 years and have experience with individuals, couples, and families. As a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist, I practice experiential therapies to help my clients heal internally and relationally. My desire is for all people to experience a rich, full inner life, and a sense of peace in who they are and their relationships. I am trained in Emotion-Focused Therapy for couples, EMDR for trauma, and integrate Internal Family Systems into my approach. Couples, identity/life transitions, perinatal concerns, and trauma are my areas of focus. I seek to be a safe space for marginalized communities and deeply value spiritual integration in therapy.

As a pre-licensed MFT, I meet people where they are to help guide them through their interpersonal relationships, thoughts, and feelings. I work from an evidence-based Collaborative/Narrative Strength Based Approach to empower them to understand their mental health through neurophysiological psychoeducation, assessments, and build coping skills for everyday life stressors. I see patients with chronic illness, depression, anxiety, Trauma (PTSD, Complex), relationship distress/conflict. I’m trained in trauma-informed brief interventionist models, and specialize in working with clients after traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury/surgery, stroke, and injury/illness.

I am particularly interested in helping others experiencing grief, anxiety, and/or trauma. My primary goal is to make genuine connections and help others feel heard and understood without judgement. I also deeply love spending time with my family, reading, and traveling.

I’m a Master’s level Clinical Mental health counselor with a specialization in Military Families & Culture. I received my bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Communications from Tennessee State University and served in the United States Navy for eight years. I take a Rogerian approach to counseling also known as person centered, which is rooted in “helping people find their own best way”.
My specialties include anxiety, depression, trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), covering issues related to career counseling, coping skills, life transitions, relationship issues, stress, marital and premarital counseling, and suicidal ideation.
